court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proven

Nov. 17,
2010
•At 2:39 p.m., an
officer took a theft report on a missing iPod. This case is
administratively closed pending the discovery of new
information.
Dec. 8,
2010
•At 12:42 a.m.,
the theft of several items was reported at Grant South. This case
is administratively closed pending the discovery of new
information.

•At 1:23 a.m., a
subject was found to have consumed alcohol while being under the
legal age allowed to consume alcohol. A warrant was obtained and
Mario Jimenez, 20, of Round Lake, was arrested. This case is closed
by an adult arrest.

•A complainant
reported someone had made a purchase on her debit card without her
consent. This case is administratively closed pending the discovery
of new information.

“EN”> Tuesday
•At 3:01 a.m., a
subject was found to be possession of cannabis. This case is
pending a warrant for the arrest of the offender.
•At 10:24 a.m.,
the theft of a lost or mislaid wallet was reported. This case is
closed and unfounded due to owner contacting the NIU police
department and informing them the wallet had been
recovered.
•At 1:35 p.m.,
the theft of a bottle of cologne was reported from the residence
hall room of the victim. This case is open pending further
investigation.
•At 5:45 p.m.,
while on routine foot patrol, an officer smelled cannabis coming
from a residence hall room. Upon speaking with the occupants of the
room, the officer discovered that the occupants were in possession
of cannabis and a pipe. They were referred to the University
Judicial Office for adjudication.

•While on patrol
of Lincoln Hall, an officer observed two individuals consuming
alcoholic beverages. Both individuals voluntarily admitted
consuming alcohol. The officer referred them to the Office of
Community Standards and Student Conduct for illegal possession by a
minor.
