The following was taken directly from area police and fire department records, or from DeKalb County court records. Anyone mentioned is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

FRIDAY

At 7:02 p.m., DeKalb Police in the 200 block of Tilton Park Drive attempted to locate a suspect on a warrant. Police found suspect, Arthur K. Swan, 57, of DeKalb, to have a failure to appear warrant for driving with a suspended license, a failure to appear warrant for harassment by telephone and a failure to appear warrant for a probation violation. Swan was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later taken to the DeKalb County Jail.

At 10:40 p.m., DeKalb Police observed a speeding vehicle in the 400 block of Lincoln Highway. Police performed a traffic stop and learned the driver, Christian O. Jacobo, 19, of DeKalb, was driving without a valid driver’s license and did not have an 8 – 16 year old passenger restrained in a seat belt. Jacobo was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later released on bond.

SATURDAY

At 3:48 p.m., DeKalb Police in the 1000 block of Sunnymeade Trail recognized an individual with an active warrant. Police confirmed the subject, Elias Perez, 35, of DeKalb, had a failure to appear warrant for driving with a suspended license. Perez was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later released on bond.

At 3:28 p.m., DeKalb Police observed a subject walking in the 1000 block of Market Street. Police recognized the subject as Jonathon C. Boling, 28, of DeKalb, who had a warrant for a violation of an order of protection. Boling was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later released on bond.

SUNDAY

At 9:51 a.m., DeKalb Police performed a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Sycamore Road. Police learned that the driver, Omara Barona, 23, of DeKalb, was driving without a valid license and had a registration violation. Barona was arrested and taken to the police station. He was later released on bond.
