WANTED: Professional Hair stylist for NFL Players
October 31, 2010
What do the NFL players, Clay Matthews, Troy Polamalu, Devin Hester and BenJarvus Green-Ellis have in common? They have never heard of a haircut before.
From USA Today, the team with the highest payroll for the 2009 season was the New York Giants at $137 million.
Men haircuts cost about $20, so I really cannot understand why you do not just cut it. You can argue all you want about the rights that a person has but in my opinion these grown men should just cut their hair. In a contact sport, why do you think having long hair is a good idea? Not only that but if I were an opposing player, my first instinct would be to grab their hair during the game.
Like today for example, I am watching the Vikings and Patriots game. I was shocked when I looked at a player and could not read his last name because his hair was so long; I had to go on the NFL website to look up his name.
Ten percent of NFL players have long hair, according to The Wall Street Journal.
If you are going to have a mane like Troy Polamalu in the NFL then put it in a ponytail.
