USOAR project proposals due Wednesday
November 28, 2010
Project proposals for the Undergraduate Special Opportunities in Artistry and Research Program are due Wednesday.
USOAR gives students funding in order to develop project ideas related to their area of study, and awards the winning students up to $2,500 of funding for the project. Project locations can vary from the DeKalb community to anywhere overseas.
Students are required to cover any costs beyond their awarded budget.
Candidates only need their project proposal and a faculty mentor in order to be considered. Interested students should turn in 10 copies of the application, with their mentor’s signature, and a copy of their proposal to the students’ given college by the end of the day Wednesday.
Winners will be announced in March.
