• At 2:03 a.m. Sunday, DeKalb Police made a traffic stop in the 1100 block West Hillcrest Drive and found the driver to be intoxicated. Phillip J. Vyhanek, 24, of Des Plaines was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to signal when required and making an improper turn. Vyhanek was sent to the DeKalb Police Department and later released after posting bond.
