Congressman Bill Foster deserves support from NIU students.

Rep. Foster has worked on these items in support of students: Pell Grants, free college education to veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan, reduction of textbook costs are some of the benefits realized from his work.

Bill has supported far-reaching reforms of the student loan industry – removing the “middle man” and holding down interest costs – entirely paid for by the reforms. $87 billion in savings with no cost to taxpayers nor students.

Bill has visited NIU campus many times, being available to students and has brought jobs and investment to the NIU community. He has brought millions of dollars in funding to: expand broadband service in northwestern Illinois, cancer treatment and therapy programs, training workers of visually-impaired adults and basic scientific research.

Bill Foster has been student-friendly and deserves your vote.
