At 6:17 a.m. Monday, DeKalb Police observed a vehicle in the 1400 block of South Fourth Street with no headlights on. Police said at the current time it was dark and foggy. After a traffic stop was performed, police learned the driver did not have a valid driver’s license. Austin Morales-Balderrama, 27, of DeKalb, was arrested for not having a valid driver’s license and no headlights on when required. Morales-Balderrama was transported to the DeKalb Police Department and later released on bond.
