Drake is set to take over the NIU Convocation Center on Sunday, October 17th for his Light Dreams and Nightmares tour. Doors will open at 6:30pm with the show starting at 7:30pm. The show will open with special guest Clipse.
Ticket Information
NIU Students: NIU Student tickets are on sale now at the NIU Convocation Center Box Office. Tickets for this event are $39.50, $37.50, and $31.50. Students may receive a $5.00 discount with a valid NIU OneCard. Only one discounted ticket will be available per NIU OneCard. NIU Student must be present with his or her OneCard. Students are limited to 4 tickets per NIU OneCard on the day of on sale (1 discounted ticket, 3 non-discounted tickets).
General Public: The general public tickets are on sale now. Tickets for this event are $39.50, $37.50, and $31.50. Tickets may be purchased at the NIU Convocation Center box office located at 1525 W Lincoln Hwy in DeKalb, Ticketmaster.com, all Ticketmaster outlets, or by phone at 800.745.3000. General public is limited to 4 tickets per person.

Chart toping, Aubrey DRAKE Graham (born October 24, 1986) is a Canadian actor, rapper, and singer. He is known for playing Jimmy Brooks, the physically disabled character on the T.V series Degrassi: In his Next Generation. As a rapper, Graham uses the stage name Drake, and is often billed as the new version of The Fresh Prince.
Drake became a national icon with the release of his highly acclaimed mixtape, So Far Gone. The record reached No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100. Eventually, So Far Gone was released as an official album with limited tracks, moving over 458,000 copies in the last year. The album is still on Billboard’s Hot 100 list.
Drake recently released his album, Thank Me Later on June 15th. The record sold 447,000 records in the first week, reaching No. 1 on Billboard 200. The album is a collaboration with artists such as Alicia Keys, Nicki Minaj, T.I. and Lil Wayne.
Clipse.
Clipse is a critically acclaimed Virginia Beach hip hop duo. Clipse was formed in 1992 by brothers Malice (Gene Thornton) and Pusha T (Terrence Thornton). In 2008 Clipse was heard on the track Do What You Do with Drake. In 2009, Clipse signed with Columbia for Til the Casket Drops, which was released in December 2009. The album’s list of collaborators included the Neptunes, DJ Khalil, Kanye West, and Keri Hilson.
