• At 10:09 p.m Wednesday, an officer observed a person driving north on Normal Road, who the officer knew already had a suspended license. The officer approached the driver and confirmed the identification. David A. Thomas, 39 of DeKalb, was arrested and charged with driving with a suspended license. Thomas was later taken to DeKalb County Jail. Vehicle owner Gloria Dorrough, 41 of DeKalb was cited for allowing Thomas to drive her car.

• At 5:23 p.m. Wednesday, an officer observed a driver not wearing a seat belt in the 200 block of East Lincoln Highway. The officer approached the driver and it was found that he was driving with a suspended license. Willie L. McCloud, 26 of DeKalb, was arrested and sent to the police department on charges of driving with a suspended license, no insurance, no seat belt and having expired plates. McCloud was issued four tickets and released on the required bond.
