Education: B.A. in management information systems with an emphasis on computer science and interpersonal communication from North Central College

Experience: Fourteen years of experience in the corporate business world: most recently, account executive for a multi-million dollar company, concentrating on the health care sector; last four years owned her own real estate business in DeKalb, active in community in various service organizations, value added in background in technology in Internet presence and data analysis

What will you bring to the city if elected?: I was born and raised here in DeKalb, so I have a strong history of the area and the City Council’s decision making process. With my technology background, I want to push more information to the public via the Internet for a convenience factor. I hope to bring a comfort factor that the city clerk and her staff are approachable and there to help.
