Education: B.A. in psychology from NIU

Experience: Served on Citizens Environmental Committee for two years, has been attending meetings for 3.5 years and has maintained a local blog on city issues; addressed City Council on various issues, in particular during budget hearings

What will you bring to the city if elected?: I think a real common sense of frugal approach and connection to the regular neighborhoods in town that I think sometimes get lost with encumbrance. Two other reasons I would rate as most important are my action plan for budgeting, and my being a proponent of good government, beginning with greater transparency, with which I already have a track record.
