Dave Baker – “I’m very happy that the voters recognized and appreciated all the work I’ve done over the last eight years. I’m looking forward to much of the same for the next four years. I can’t wait to go forward with the positives for our great city.”

Craig Roman – “I would like to thank everyone who came out to vote, and I hoped they learned their vote did count.”

Jared Lash – “Before today, I pretty much knew what the results were going to be. Anyone who goes door to door to talk to voters and talked to people knew what the results are before the election. Every time I went out, Baker was out there knocking on doors too. If anything, it’s good he was able to talk to some constituents. He had a pretty good race and campaign.”

Eugene Smith – “I mean it’s a disappointment, but it’s also a learning experience. Being my first campaign, we worked really hard. I got one hour of sleep last night. I was out knocking on doors, handing out fliers, trying to get out the student vote … I mean my opponents ran a great campaign. It was just sometimes you have some winners and some losers and you just learn from it and you just keep going and going.”
