Chiodos to bring post-hardcore sound to DeKalb

By NORTHERN STAR STAFF

DeKalb, prepare for hardcore.

Michigan rockers Chiodos will bring its trademark post-hardcore sound when the band plays at 7 p.m. May 30 at The House Cafe, 263 E. Lincoln Highway. Tickets to the show are $15 to 17.

Fresh off of an arena tour supporting Linkin Park, making the cover of Alternative Press and their successful 2007 sophomoric effort “Bone Palace Ballet,” the rockers have been gaining a steady fan base since their arrival on the scene in 2005.

Chiodos just finished a world tour and are scheduled to play several dates on the Warped Tour this summer, according to the band’s official Web site.

Tickets can be purchased at www.ticketweb.com.
