Cold weather predictions have moved the start times for some of the NIU baseball team’s opening games at the BankFirst Baseball Challenge.

The Friday game against North Florida has been changed to a 1 p.m. CT start time due to the prediction of cold overnight temperatures this weekend in Starkville, Miss. The start time for the Huskies’ second game on Friday against Mississippi State has also been moved up to 5 p.m.

The rest of the Huskies’ games this weekend remain unchanged as they will match up with MSU on Saturday at 4:30 p.m. and UNF on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. to wrap up their season-opening weekend.
