Crime Stoppers: information needed about fraudulent checks

Crime Stoppers is seeking information about a fraud. Two suspects, a black male and a black female, used fraudulent identification to cash counterfeit checks and obtain cashier’s checks at a few local banks.

One suspect presented false identification at the bank that identified them as an account holder. The suspect cashed a counterfeit check and then had a cashier’s check drawn on the victim’s account.

The second suspect then went to another bank and cashed the cashier’s check.
