At 8:06 p.m. Monday, DeKalb Police saw a vehicle in the 1100 block of Sycamore Road with registration that showed the driver did not have a valid license. Police stopped the vehicle and arrested the driver, Cayetano M. Lopez, 32, of DeKalb, and charged him with driving without a valid driver’s license or insurance. He was later released on bond.

At 4:30 p.m. Monday, DeKalb Police were called to Wal-Mart, 2300 Sycamore Rd., for a customer in custody who attempted to leave the store with merchandise in her purse. Police arrested the customer, Reina H. Ricker, 37, of Cortland, and charged her with retail theft. Ricker also had a failure to appear warrant for driving with a suspended license. She was later released on bond.
