At tonight’s DeKalb County Board meeting, the county highway committee will discuss designating just over one mile of Somonauk Road as an 80,000-pound truck route at the estimated cost of $201,393.00.

The finance committee will discuss a tax abatement totaling $498,060 of the $973,060 property tax levy for the 2008 Tax Year.

This money was levied for the lease agreement for the retirement of the debt on the 2005 Health Facility Re-Financing Bond Issue.
