Parking ban lifted in DeKalb

The parking ban put in place by DeKalb officials Thursday night will be completely lifted by 2 p.m. this afternoon.
Downtown parking is available immediately with parking on the remaining city streets allowed after 2 p.m, according to a press release.
Normal parking regulations will remain in effect.
In addition, trash collection has been postponed. Residents are asked to put their trash outside by 5:30 a.m. Saturday morning as Waste Management will be completing its’ DeKalb route throughout the day, according to a press release.
