New Paris Hilton show is perhaps dumbest ever
November 12, 2008
One day, after failing to make it to one of my classes, I turned on the TV only to encounter the dumbest show I’ve ever seen in my life.
“Paris Hilton’s My New BFF” trumps any other show I’ve seen on levels of sheer stupidity.
First off, I would like to know if this show is fake or not. If it is, MTV, what were you thinking? If all of the characters are truly vying to be Paris’s new BFF, what were they thinking?
To say that Paris Hilton is not the sharpest tool in the shed would be kind. I don’t think anyone’s surprised that this paparazzi princess seems to enjoy making people work and suffer just to be her friend.
There were several things that annoyed me while watching this painfully long show, but I knew that if I managed to sit through it, I would be able to complain about it through a blog.
The annoying detail that I noticed right off of the bat was the fact that anytime Paris is offering commentary, she is sitting on a couch/bed in front of a starry night backdrop. The green screen effects are ever-so-obvious and beg the question “what is the point of this?”
Also, throughout the show, Paris constantly points out things that she does on a daily basis or activities that are required for her job.
What exactly does she do? And why must she train her new best friend to be able to take on such a difficult task?
Overall, there are a bunch of corny shows on MTV, but most are bearable. However, “Paris Hilton’s My New BFF” is arguably the worst show MTV has ever shown on their network.
