Hugh Hefner is the father.. erm, ex-boyfriend of the bride.

All dirty thoughts aside, according to a Nov. 6 Associated Press report, the Playboy mogul has given his blessing to Girl Next Door Kendra Wilkinson and will be giving her away at her wedding to Hank Baskett, receiver for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Not to fuss over little things, but wouldn’t that be weird?

I think it’s great when people break up but end up on good terms for the long haul. Especially with Hef’s old age, it’s nice to see he still knows he’s 82, and eligible for father status. He does, after all, have a daughter of his own.

But in any case, wouldn’t that be strange? Wilkinson dated Hef and now he’s giving her away at her wedding. Totally sweet, but I wouldn’t want my ex-boyfriend at my wedding.

Yech.

I want to feel all warm and fuzzy about that, but at the same time, I just can’t stop curling my lip.
