Polls open in DeKalb

Polls opened in DeKalb today in one of the most anticipated elections in recent memory.

All locations statewide will accept votes until 7 p.m. Individuals must be in line prior to 7 p.m. for the vote to count.

Voters are encouraged to bring both their voter identification card as well as a government issued photo ID, such as a driver’s license.

No political material including signs, buttons, and clothing are permitted within 100 feet of voting locations.

If you live in Douglas, Grant, Lincoln or Stevenson residence halls, your voting location is at the Campus Recreation Center.

If you live elsewhere in the area, log on to dekalbcounty.org to find where you vote.
