Disney and Pixar’s favorite robot, Wall-E, will be the main attraction at the benefit event for Regional Access & Mobilization Project (RAMP) starting today.

Sycamore Theatre, 420 W. State Street in Sycamore, will host $2 showings of the movie “Wall-E” beginning today through Thursday. This event is open to the general public and all of the proceeds from the event will go to RAMP.

RAMP is an organization and advocacy group that helps people with disabilities realize there is no limit to what they can do, said Patty Story, personal assistant coordinator for RAMP.

The movie will be shown at 4:15 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 8:45 p.m. Sept. 26 through Sept. 28 and 6:30 p.m. Sept. 29 through Oct. 2.

“RAMP is a non-for-profit organization so the money from this event will help us continue to provide our services,” Story said. “I’m hoping we will get a great turnout. It’s a great movie and we had a great turnout last year, so I am hoping for the same support this year.”
