Have you ever been to a concert and have been completely disgusted by some of the people in the audience?

I was at a concert last night. It was a general admission show, so after watching the first few songs from the front, I got out of the tight crowd to move back and relax for the second part of the set, which was acoustic. This is my favorite band I am seeing, so I really enjoy seeing them live, but I could barely pay attention to the music because I was surrounded by drunken audience members.

I’m not, by any means, saying that no one is allowed to have a drink at a concert, but these people, a few girls in particular, were being completely obnoxious and disrespectful. During a particular song, these girls continued to take pictures of themselves with their drinks and yell obnoxious things to the band while it was quiet so everyone could hear. I couldn’t deal with it anymore so I moved my way back to the front and enjoyed the rest of the show.

Again, I’m not saying to not enjoy yourself at a show, but there’s a difference between having a few drinks and over-doing it. These girls were so disrespectful and I was embarrassed to be near them.
