Student reaction to shortening of Republican Convention
September 2, 2008
Do you think the shortening of the Republican National Convention was a good move?
“I’d say it was a good idea because the politicians should be more concerned with the livelihood and well-being of the people rather than making themselves and their party look good.”
– Billy Ritchey, sophomore political science major
“I don’t think it’s a good thing. I am a Democrat all the way, and I think it just makes us look like we’re trying to be better. They shouldn’t shorten it, they should make it longer.”
– Destini Robinson, junior political science major
“If you’re going to give one party a certain amount of time, the other party should get an equal amount of time.”
– Sumera Singapuri, sophomore corporate communications major
