Plot: In this visually stunning French film, Amélie (Tautou), a young woman in Paris, finds a relic in her apartment from its previous tenant. She returns it and, seeing the results, embarks on a series of personal philanthropic missions. Along the way, she becomes infatuated with an equally quirky man (Kassovitz). “Amélie” is an artistic, endearing love story with coincidence, humor and a circumnavigating lawn gnome.
