Perry Farrell’s Lollapalooza Festival has been resurrected from the dead and found a permanent home in Chicago’s Grant Park. Summerfest touts itself as being the biggest musical festival in the world and for good reason. The festival, held on over 75 acres of land, is open for 12 hours everyday for ten days and will feature Stone Temple Pilots, Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers, Stevie Wonder, Rush, Alicia Keys and The Jonas Brothers. Ozzfest

Official dates and prices to be announced.

Although an official lineup and tour dates are unknown as of yet, online rumors are circulating that Ozzy Osbourne, along with his solo band, will headline the tour. This is contrary to earlier reports that suggested that Sharon Osbourne was trying to reunite the original members of Black Sabbath. Other rumored acts include Judas Priest, Sevendust, Killswitch Engage, Serj Tankian and Filter. Tickets to Ozzfest were free last year, but it is not known if they will be free again for this year’s tour.
