Great class

I was shocked to read of the controversy surrounding the CAB class being led by Siddha Yoga worker Arthur Shimkus. I took his class five years ago and can say without a doubt that it had the most useful life application of any class I ever attended at NIU and I graduated Magna Cum Laude with University Honors. His class is about life—from its meaning how to live it better—does NIU want to suppress that kind of subject matter? It is what society needs to learn the most; thus will reject the most. Sad.

Just for the record, my second favorite class at NIU was “Comparative Religions”, taught for full credit in NIU’s philosophy dept.
