Summer Movies: Sicko

If you don’t like Michael Moore, this movie isn’t going to convert you. If you like Mr. Moore, prepare to hail this movie as his best. And, if by chance, you are one of the five people in the world who doesn’t have an opinion on America’s most/least favorite contemporary muckraker, you have to see this movie.
Personal politics aside, universal health care is a significant social issue, and Moore holds no punches, bashing both Bush Jr. and Hillary Clinton on their respective health care related shortcomings.
The history is there, the facts are there, and Moore’s cynical humor shines throughout.
If you tend to think that this movie is not ground breaking, you probably have a good health care provider.
To those that do not have health insurance, or will not when they graduate, see this movie! Even if you want to just see how the other half with insurance lives, you also need to see this movie.
Republicans and Democrats (even Independents) all have one thing in common: they are human.
This movie is for human beings, not “liberals”, or “leftists”, or any of the other insane titles politicians use to divide demographics.
So go see this movie, and if you are anything like me, you’ll laugh, you’ll cry, and you’ll pay to see it again.
