Power restored to Evergreen Village

As of 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, power was restored to Evergreen Village Mobile Home park and as of 3 p.m. Tuesday, residents were allowed to return to their homes.

The DeKalb County Emergency Services and Disaster Agency suggests residents returning to their homes wear boots and gloves. Utilities are at the discretion of the homeowner and the utility companies.

Persons who have received a puncture wound or have a wound that has come in contact with flood water and have not had a tetanus shot in the past five years and persons who have had or anticipate having contact with flood water and have not had a tetanus shot in the past 10 years or do not know when they last received a tetanus shot should be assessed by the Health Department on Annie Glidden Rd. to determine if a tetanus shot is needed.
