DeKALB | The NIU men’s basketball team received its first verbal agreement for the 2008 season – again.

Mike Dinunno recommitted to NIU last Friday. Dinunno had previously committed to former coach Rob Judson but it was unknown if Dinunno would recommit to new coach Ricardo Patton.

A 6-foot point guard from Von Steuben High School, Dinunno was listed by Rivals.com as a top 25 player in Illinois and ChicagoHoops.com named him as the No. 39 recruit in the state for 2008.
