Internationally renowned artist visits Sycamore in first tour of U.S.

SYCAMORE | Popular impressionistic Vitaly Mikhailov will be showing his work at the Art Attack School of Art in Sycamore on March 31 from 6 to 9 p.m.
Mikhailov, who will be showings his work at the Art Attack School of Art, 215 W. Elm St., as part of his first tour of the United States. The uniquely versatile artist has original oil paintings in museums, government buildings and corporate collections throughout the world.
Susan Edwards, founder and director of the Art Attack Shcool of Arts, was elated when she was offered the opportunity to showcase Mikhailov at the school.
“We are a not-for-profit school and need to be mindful of every dollar we spend,” she said. “We are constantly looking at ways to create an awareness of the importance of art. To get a fabulous international artist like Vitaly [Mikhailov] in Sycamore can bring tremendous awareness to the school and to the arts in our community.”
The Art Attack teaches art classes to adults, children and special interest groups. It has been serving Sycamore an the surrounding areas for seven years.
