Valentine dos and don’ts
February 14, 2007
1. DO: Tell that person you are vying for just how much you really care – or if you already have, remind them.
DON’T: Be cheap. You’re not good at art and money CAN buy you love.
2. DO: Blindfold your special someone – not against their will – and take them somewhere they’ve always wanted to go or somewhere that means something to them and the relationship.
DON’T: Realize too late you don’t have a blindfold and opt instead for a burlap sack. It’s not romantic, it’s scary.
3. DO: Surprise him or her by creating a homemade valentine, even if it consists of doilies, crayons and construction paper.
DON’T: Attempt to use Valentine’s Day as an excuse to reconnect with that old flame. Restraining orders are still effective on holidays.
4. DO: Make sure to kiss them passionately when they least expect it – and often.
DON’T: Forget to breathe.
5. DO: Be spontaneous and do something incredibly sexy they will never forget.
DON’T: Forget to stop, think and affirm that what you consider sexy is both legal and socially acceptable.
