Top romance movies

1. “The Princess Bride”
“The Princess Bride” is the story of the truest and purest love of all time. At least, that’s how this movie describes itself. When it actually comes down to it the movie is simply a series of memorable one-liners which happen to be set around a story of love. Some of the funniest moments are watching Andre the Giant try to be a comedian and – through his awkwardness – he actually succeeds.
2. “Amelie from Montmartre”
“Amelie” stars the ever-amazing Audrey Tautou and shows her journey to help make people’s lives happier. Eventually she falls in love with a man who collects discarded photos of people from instant photo booths. After coming up with numerous tricks to give the man his lost photo album back, they finally meet.
3. “Romeo and Juliet”
Whether it is the 1968 original or the 1996 Leonardo DiCaprio remake, both are staples for a Valentine’s Day movie marathon. The 1996 remake gives an updated look at this timeless love story but is creative enough to remain a credible movie while Franco Zeffirelli’s version remains a classic.
