Pedestrian killed in collision with train

DeKALB | An accident claimed the life of a pedestrian Monday at the level crossing on the 600 block of West Lincoln Highway.

The DeKalb County Coroner’s Office said that Jonathan M. Graf, 33, of DeKalb, had been on the north side of the railroad tracks prior to the accident. He stepped from some weeds along tracks, putting himself directly in the path of an eastbound train.

Graf was pronounced dead at 12:09 a.m.

The Coroner’s Office said they are still investigating the incident with the DeKalb Police Department.
