With both NIU basketball teams playing in the MAC tournament, NIU students looking for a place to go over Spring Break might look toward Cleveland, but they may be on their own.

The Campus Activities Board has yet to announce if it will sponsor a bus trip to Cleveland for students.

Both the men’s and women’s MAC Basketball Tournament will be held at The Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland March 8-11.

General admission tickets for the women’s games are $10 per session at the arena on game day or through NIU’s ticket office at the Convocation Center. Students can purchase tickets at the Convocation Center Box Office or call 752-6800.

The women start quarterfinal action against No. 24 Bowling Green at 4:30 p.m. today. Semifinals will be held Friday, and the championship game will be televised on Fox Sports Net Ohio at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The men will face Toledo at 11 a.m. Thursday, with the winner to advance to the semifinals Friday and face either Akron or Western Michigan. The championship game can be seen at 7 p.m. Saturday on ESPN2.
