Wasting your nights online

Tabasco sauce in the eye, wasabi-snorting and male testosterone are the foundation of great immature entertainment. Luckily the Internet allows the freedom to view from a safe distance these ridiculous stunts.

These Web sites provide the best and worst of online entertainment. Warning: most of these sites include some graphic, sexual and violent content.

Ebaumsworld.com delivers prank calls, videos, jokes, news, magic and optical illusions. This site shows no inhibition. It displays the most immature and inappropriate content of the top entertainment sites.

Favorites: Spider effect, optical illusion; Napoleon Dynamite; prank call; hate mail.

Collegehumor.com is something all college students can relate to. It shows random videos and pictures broken down by different content including alcohol, animals, dorm madness, sexual, sports and more. The site also features articles written by people in college or close to the age about random topics ranging from why being emo is “cool” to “Seven Ways to Welcome Katie Holmes’s baby.”

Favorites: Two ladies singing to Kelly Clarkons’s “Since You’ve Been Gone,” the emo song, random “Saved By the Bell” clips.

Boingboing.net stands apart by being a thought-provoking source for interesting information from many topics. From science to entertainment to useless knowledge, if your brain is hungry for something fun that doesn’t involve naked women or Jackass stunts, Boingboing is the site.

Favorites: Morphing materials, Japanese protest of anti-vintage-tech ban, How to preserve a snowflake.

Compfused.com for beginning Internet users is the place to go. The site hosts a relatively small amount of mostly innocent video files. Unfortunately, the site’s ads tend to contain sexual content, so use with caution.

Favorites: Alien plants, Sand art, The 666 Foot rail ride.

Wimp.com is the bible of entertainment sites. A person could spend a week without sleep looking through the massive collection of video, flash, picture and game files. The site provides brutally immature humor, less nudity than most other sites — though many teases — and a nearly endless supply of strange people in weird situations.

Favorites: Little Beyonce, Awesome le parkour stunts, Ketchup effect, Simpsons home, snorting wasabi.
