Voters who will not be in the county for the General Primary on March 21 can vote absentee beginning today.

Applications for absentee ballots are available now through March 16. The form requires a name, address, reason for voting absentee and a signature.

An online form is available at dekalbcounty.org. One must reside at their residence for 30 days before they are able to vote in their district.

One can vote in person rather than absentee during normal business hours at the office of the County Clerk, 110 E. Sycamore St. in Sycamore. The deadline to register to vote is Feb. 21.
