Rascal Flatts concert tickets sold out

People still looking for tickets to the Feb. 17 Rascal Flatts concert are out of luck.

Tickets for the show went on sale Jan. 14 but sold out within 30 minutes, surprising both Convocation Center employees and people standing in line.

Many who had waited in line hoping for close-up seats ended up with bowl seats, said Kevin Selover, marketing director for the Convo. He worked with Campus Activities Board to arrange the show.

Though the possibility of a second show was considered, it is unlikely it will happen due to scheduling conflicts from both camps.

CAB is not resting yet, bringing in another interesting act. Robert Channing, known as the “World’s Foremost Mind Reader,” will perform Thursday in the Duke Ellington Ballroom.

The show starts at 7:30 p.m. and is free for students.

Channing will predict what any audience member will wear to his show if they call 800-320-9650 and give their name. At the beginning of the show, Channing will present a description of their attire in a sealed envelope to demonstrate his skills.
