Breakdown:

“The West Wing” isn’t what it once was, but in the past, it proved itself worthy of being called a “top notch” show. “Commander in Chief,” in its first season, has earned high amounts of praise, but the initial hype of “West Wing” was much stronger than the current hype for “Commander.” “West Wing” began as an original idea at debut and now “Commander” seems to be nothing more than a blatant, easily understood rip-off of “West Wing.” Seeing as “Commander” has been renewed for two more seasons and it appears to be a final one for “West Wing”, it’s still too soon to tell whether “Commander” will be able to overshadow the greatness of its predecessor.
