SUVs collide; both drivers suffer minor injuries
November 10, 2005
A silver Toyota Highlander going southbound on Annie Glidden Road struck a hunter green Ford Explorer turning left on Loren Drive Wednesday. The Ford was turned on its side and the Toyota’s front was smashed in.
Officials are not sure of how or why the accident happened, said Lt. Reid Rissman of the DeKalb Fire Department.
The drivers were the only people in the vehicles and both were taken to Kishwaukee Community Hospital for minor injuries. One victim suffered from wrist injuries and cuts, while the other sustained sore ribs.
