2 stabbed outside Starbusters Friday morning

DeKalb police are searching for several attackers following a stabbing outside a bar early Friday morning.
At about 2:04 a.m. police responded to a report of a fight taking place outside the parking lot of Starbusters Bar & Grill, 930 Pappas Drive. Upon arrival, officers found two subjects who had been stabbed during the fight.
Police said the fight began when one suspect punched out the passenger window of one of the victim’s vehicle. When the driver exited the vehicle, he was attacked by two suspects. Two more later joined in.
Police said during the fight, the driver was slashed across the back and a passenger exiting the vehicle was stabbed in the chest.
A knife believed to have been used in the stabbing was recovered at the scene.
The stabbing victims, ages 24 and 21, were taken to Kishwaukee Community Hospital, 626 Bethany Road. The stab-wound victim was later airlifted to Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford.
Police said a third man who suffered a hand injury in the fight was able to arrive at the hospital unaided.
DeKalb police were unavailable for further comment as of press time.
