Sycamore’s “Meet the Candidates” night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the DeKalb County Farm Bureau, 1350 W. Prairie Drive.

The event will feature questions for the three mayoral candidates as well as six aldermanic candidates in contest for three of Sycamore’s four wards.

Steve Almburg of Almburg Auctioneering in Malta will moderate the event, which will feature six questions for the aldermanic candidates and nine questions for the mayoral candidates.

The three candidates for mayor, John L. Swedberg, Ken Mundy and Earl C. Gable, Jr. will have two-minute opening and closing remarks.

Time permitting, candidates will also respond to questions submitted by the audience prior to the event’s start. The questions must apply to all candidates and will be reviewed for appropriateness.
