I just wanted to take a minute to express my opinion in regard to the “Keep guns around” letter found in Wednesday’s paper. Mr. Brender, as the title suggests, is in support of less gun control and the right to bear arms. But unfortunately “Keeping guns around” puts them at the disposal of young and unskilled operators who frequently cause undue harm to innocent people. We as a society no longer need guns, but if you insist, let’s outlaw the bullets!
