Hastert’s disinformation merits Zamora’s victory
October 3, 2004
Congressman Dennis Hastert claims al-Qaida wants John Kerry to win the election. Mr. Hastert also claims that Doctors Without Borders gets money from selling human organs and George Soros’ money came from drug cartels. What will Hastert say next? Are these statements from a rational person or just a part of the Republican disinformation campaign? The Republican National Committee has mailed literature to voters claiming Democrats would ban the Bible. Republican television ads have deliberately taken statements out of context to mislead the viewer about Kerry.
Americans should demand that our leaders be truthful. Hastert has shown he is no more credible than George Bush. Vote for Democrat Ruben Zamora Nov. 2.
