Families to ‘think fast’

By Laurel Marselle

This weekend, families will have to think fast in order to win prizes.

The “Think Fast” game show will take place at 8 p.m. Saturday at the Holmes Student Center’s Duke Ellington Ballroom.

Families will compete against each other and other members of the audience for an unknown grand prize.

The game show will resemble the show “Jeopardy.”

“Each member of the audience will have a hand set, and whoever answers the questions the fastest will get a chance to go on stage and compete for the grand prize,” said Jaquita Logan, Campus Activities Board special events coordinator.

The host will ask the first round of questions to the audience and, eventually, four or five people will remain to go onstage and compete for the grand prize.

Trivia such as movies, TV shows and music will be among the questions asked, Logan said.

This is CAB’s first year hosting the game show.

“A lot of people have called asking about the game show and we think that we’ll have an interesting turnout from Family Weekend,” Logan said. “We just want everyone to come out and have fun for free.”
