SA may suspend groups

For student organizations that don’t wish to be suspended from the Student Association, you better listen up.

There are mandatory organizational meetings scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at the Holmes Student Center’s Lincoln Room.

“You have to go to remain organized,” said Brooke Robinson, director of public affairs for the Student Association.

Robinson said that one officer from each SA recognized organization needs to attend one of the two upcoming meetings.

Failure to attend the meeting will result in a temporary suspension of recognition. The meetings, which are held annually, will be run by SA vice president Jaime Garcia.

The representatives are not required to attend both of the meetings because the same material will be discussed, according to the memo.

For information, call Garcia at 753-0208.
