Three gunmen invade home

Police are in search of the perpetrators of a home invasion that occurred early Thursday morning on Buena Vista Drive.
According to DeKalb police reports, three subjects with handguns invaded the home around 1 a.m. while the victims were asleep.
The offenders also reportedly ransacked the house and terrorized the victims for about two hours before leaving.
The victims also were tied up and one was treated at Kishwaukee Community Hospital for minor injuries.
According to police reports, the offenders were described as:
Male, Asian, 5 feet 5 inches, 135 pounds, early to mid-20s, wearing light-colored pants, a hooded tan top or jacket and black shoes.
Male, black, 5 feet 7 inches, thin build, early 20s, wearing a denim top or jacket, blue jeans and white Nike shoes.
Male, black, 6 feet 2 inches, thin build, early 20s, wearing a blue ski hat with a red stripe, jeans and a black and white checkered hat.
The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office assisted with processing the crime scene.
The DeKalb Police Department is in contact with the FBI and other law enforcement agencies regarding this case.
