Holmes Student Center modifies hours of operation

The DeKalb County Health Department will be using the Holmes Student Center hotel as a primary location for those who need to quarantine and can’t do so at home.

DeKALB — Hours for the Holmes Student Center temporarily have been adjusted this week following the university’s announcement for a two-week ban on in-person undergraduate classes and student gatherings.

The Holmes Student Center will be open from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays, according to Xavier-Thomas Mendoza, graduate assistant at the Holmes Student Center. The building will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and Sundays.

Starbucks will be open 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and on 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on

Fridays.

 The Grill at the Huskie Den will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays. 

Qdoba will be open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Fridays. 

The Depot C-Store will be open  from 10:30 a.m to 6 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays.
