One additional student tests positive for COVID-19, ten students recover

DeKALB — NIU announced Thursday that one additional student and no employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and 10 students have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Thursday, 17 students and four employees are currently COVID-19 positive.
The dashboard’s cumulative testing stats show a total of 301 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 280 have recovered.
As of Thursday at 4:00 p.m., NIU is at 10.5% quarantine and isolation use, same as Wednesday.
