5 students, 2 employees test positive for COVID-19

DeKALB — NIU announced Wednesday that five additional students and two employees have tested positive for the coronavirus, and three student have recovered, according to the Campus COVID-19 Dashboard. As of Wednesday, 21 students and three employees are currently COVID-19 positive.

The dashboard’s cumulative testing statistics show a total of 322 Huskies that have tested positive for COVID-19, and 298 have recovered.

As of Wednesday at 3:30 p.m., NIU is at 4.2% quarantine and isolation use. This is a 0.7% increase from Tuesday.
